Aldwick Estate Wedding Photography - Charli + Natasha

Back to one of our favourite venues - Aldwick Estate for the wedding of Charlie and Natasha.   We first met the couple back in 2018 at Charli’s sisters wedding so it was fantastic news and we were absolutely honoured when they got in touch with us 6 years later for their planned wedding at Aldwick Estate and Vineyard.

There were lots of fingers crossed for an outdoor ceremony but sadly the weather was a little bit unpredictable so an indoor ceremony decision was made. The drone was sent up for some aerial photos of the venue and we set about capturing the details in the dining room and around Aldwick

Natasha was getting ready in the Hayloft and Charli was getting ready in the recently constructed Lodge which is just a short, one minute drive away.  This relatively new accommodation provides plenty of space and is ideal for the ‘getting ready’ photos set amidst a hillside vineyard!

The couple has requested a first touch so with some planing, this was done in the bar with the girls each taking up a position either side of a door. After a short conversation and a touch of hands, they separated and headed into the wedding room. They were each walked up either side of the room so they faced each other with their fathers before they were given away.  Their very excited Golden Retriever was the trusted ring bearer and sprinted up the aisle to meet the girls and the ceremony was underway.

After the ceremony, the couple stepped aside to let the guests move outside and into position for the confetti throw after walking under an arch of hockey sticks. The weather held out for the outdoor reception and a a trio of musicians played jazz in the background to provide the musical backdrop.  Before the wedding breakfast, we took them around the grounds for the couple photos  before getting them back inside for the wedding breakfast then filmed and photographed the speeches.

The evening celebrations were provided by a DJ and the girls had their first dance with 4 confetti canons let off to the delight of the watching guests. As the dancing continued. A tie came off one of the guests and was used as an impromptu limbo bar which certainly made for some great photos and videos as the brides took it in turns under the ever reducing tie height!
