Paulton Wedding Photography - Marc + Emma

Marc & Emma’s wedding took place at the Church of St Mary within the grounds of Orcharleigh Estate and what was one of the hottest days of the day – although it was refreshingly cool in the Church!  The guests were bussed in having gathered at the marquee around 20 minutes away.

We met Emma in the morning at home in Paulton for some of the getting ready photos before heading over the the marquee in a nearby field. This was by far, one of the best marquee’s we had ever had the pleasure of working in! It had a full dance floor with illuminated starlight roof, full DJ setup with lighting and ample room within the marquee for the dining area and guests.

The couple met when Marc started working with Emma’s brother at the family farm and then rest as they say, is history!  They chose St Mary’s Church due to its remoteness and its beautiful surroundings. The marquee was a request of her grandfather that both Emma and her brother should get married on the family farm.  They had a couple of favourites moments from the day, the actual ceremony itself and the singing waiters (they are always popular!)

Talking of signing waiters, we have met John Prescott at a couple of weddings and can thoroughly recommend him to provide some excellent singing entertainment at a wedding. It’s a fantastic way to get the party started!

As a tip form future couples, they suggest don’t worry about what your guests might like or want, just focus on what you and your partner want.
