Tracey Park Wedding Photography - Dave + Lily
This was another wedding moved due to covid but we did get there in the end. Tracy Park is our closest venue to home so it’s always a great opportunity to work there! We arrived a couple of hours before the ceremony start time which useful as the venue had been updated since we were last there; exclusive for wedding guests on wedding days, refurbished lounge and dining area and a lick of paint throughout.
Lily was getting ready in one of the cottages along with the bridesmaids which was quite a tight fit once we arrived as well! We made excellent use of one of the makeup girls circular led light which helped us capture some great photo and videos (as we were shooting both at this wedding). I flitted between the main building, the bride getting ready and the ceremony room to capture as many prep moments as possible before flying the drone for some aerial footage.
Dave arrived with the best men and they waited in the bar for the arriving guests before they were ushered into the Mason Room for the ceremony to begin. Lily was walked along the aisle by her father until they reached Dave who had become very emotional as she reached him. There was a reading during the short civil service before the couple made their way outside for the confetti photos followed by the drinks reception. We managed to get all the group photos completed outside before the couple were taken onto the golf course (in a buggy) for a quiet photo moment, only interrupted by numerous golfers 😉
The speeches were completed and the guests asked to vacate the dining room for it to be changed around for the evening. I took the opportunity to create a couple of video messages from the guests (who were excellent!) which would also give the couple a surprise when they received their video!
An illuminated dance floor was setup for the evening and the couple performed their rehearsed first dance perfectly which was like watching a Strictly production! We finished off with some photos outside in front of the the venue before we concluded for the evening.
