Elmhay Wedding Photography - Dan + Gemma

Our first visit of the year to Elmhay at Orchardleigh for a wedding in the Italian Garden. Gemma was getting ready in the Castle whilst Dan and the boys were the other end of the estate in one of the houses down towards the Chapel. We opted to stay with Gemma for 45 minutes to get some preparation photos of the hair and makeup being finished off together with a requested shot of the girls wearing their embroidered gowns. At Dans, most of the boys were completely ready so we opted for some photos of the best men to keep things simple as they were looking to leave and head up to the venue.

Once we got to the Italian Garden, we had a quick look around to check what was happening where and got to work taking some photos of where the wedding would take place together with the dining room which was still being prepared. Once Gemma had arrived at the Stable Block to get changed, it was more photos for the first look by her mum and Uncle.  After the Ceremony, it was straight into confetti photos followed by the drinks reception. We then set about working our way through the provided photo list before setting up for some couple photos before the wedding breakfast.

Unknown to the guests, there were two singing waiters who had been serving food and drink throughout the afternoon. There was a look of utter surprise on some guests faces as they burst into song! Fairly shortly, the whole room was up dancing around and joining in with the songs which really lifts the mood of the whole room which was absolutely fantastic!

After the meal we finished off the friends photos, some more couple photos followed by the first dance and some dance floor pictures before concluding with some of the guests sat outside on the warm summer evening.
