Hyde House Wedding Photography - James + Lucy

Its been a couple of years since we visited Hyde House but it doesn’t disappoint! We arrived a couple of hours before the ceremony only to find most of the guests already present and headed to meet Lucy and her 8 bridesmaids.  There was a surprising calmness to the room with most of the girls hair and makeup already completed. After some informal photos and a quick chat with the videographers we took a gift to James.

James was waiting in the Groom’s room in the Main House along with this best man and ushers when we handed him the gift from Lucy. After a quick read of the card (he couldn’t read it out aloud!) He opened a lovely wristwatch before handing us a gift to take back to Lucy. Once back with the bridal party they were practicing some moves for a short video for social medial which made for some great relaxed informal photos!

The ceremony took place in the The Grange before the guests headed back to the Barn for some informal photos and the group shots. We followed up with the couple photos around the venue before heading back to the Barn for the wedding breakfast. After speeches, it was some more photos, a group photo and lots of informal pictures.  The Band were excellent and ensured a packed dance floor making for some entertaining photos! The couple wanted some evening/night photos which we had set up ready before they headed back inside for a ‘dance off’. Certainly an entertaining evening and a fabulous opportunity for some dance floor photos!
