St Tewdrics Wedding Photography - Mitch + Grace

How did you meet? We met via a messaging service back in 2011 called BBM (all the teenagers with blackberry phones had it!) we met up for the first time a few weeks later and the rest as they say is history!

Where was the proposal?  The proposal was in Tenerife. We’d had our fist holiday there a few years before and Mitch surprised me with a few days away while he on Easter leave. It was very romantic, a sunset proposal on the beach, with will you marry me written in the sand! It was one of the happiest moments of our lives

What were you most excited for on your wedding day? I think we were both just so excited to finally be husband and wife after 4 years and 3 postponements, I know Mitch was also really looking forward to being able to wear his ring at long last

Why did you choose St Tewdrics House ? We chose the venue as it ticked all of the boxes for us. It had traditional elements of a big Manor House with the modern twist that we love. The grounds were beautiful and we fell in love with the idea of an outdoor ceremony, which we were lucky enough to be able to have, even managing to dodge the rain that was forecast!

What were your favourite parts of the day?  We loved every second of the day so it’s hard to pick a few favourites but definitely walking down the aisle and seeing each other for the first time was a moment that will forever be so special to us both & my mum surprised us with singing waiters which really got the party started! We loved looking around the room and seeing all our family and friends smiling and having a great time.  Also being able to announce that we are expecting our first baby was also an amazing memory for us both

Any other tips for future couples?  So many people said it to us before but it really does go so fast so make sure you take a minute together to just stop and look around the room and look at the day you’ve put together. Also for the future brides that may stress over the small things like table decorations and flowers. Please don’t! On the day you really don’t care about those things at all, as long as you end the day married, everything went to plan!
