Berwick Lodge Wedding Photography - Gary + Chloe

It was great to return to one of our favourite venues, Berwick Lodge for the wedding of Gary & Chloe. The winter weather was holding up well so it was good to be able to plan for some outdoor photos a little later in the day - fingers crossed!

Chloe and the bridemaids were having the finishing touches put to the hair and makeup when I arrived but fortunately the dress was hanging up in the middle of the room which was a great location for a photograph. After some prep photos I moved over to the main house before the guests arrived to get some early photos of the dining room where the tables were almost set and ready.  This also gave me an opportunity to get the small details photographed dotted around the venue. A quick walk around the garden also gave me a few ideas for the couple photos a little later in the day.

After some final prep photos with the now ready bridesmaids and Chloe, Gary arrived followed by friends and family. After a quick lesson on which side the buttonholes attach, followed by a quick demo of how to attach them, I took a step back for the photos and captured the buttonholes were suitably attached to the groomsmen!

Chloe walked down the aisle accompanied by a saxophone player and the ceremony was concluded with (a lot!) of confetti outside afterwards.

With the weather still warm, the reception took place outside in the spacious grounds which also enabled me to work through the couples fairly short family and friends photo list. This was followed up with the natural group photos as I wandered about taking some informal photos. The couple photos were completed shortly before food as it would be dark by the time the wedding breakfast was finished.

After some more informal evening photos, it was time for the evening party to start; there were certainly some excellent dance floor moves!!
