Eastington Park Wedding Photography - Nick + Emma

Whilst working at a wedding a couple of months before theirs, Emma got in touch and asked if we could arrange a chat about their forthcoming wedding date. When I messaged back saying I was already at a wedding she said she was a guest at that wedding and could we have a quick chat about their day! We discovered that Nick & Emma had been securely married in New York earlier in the year but as no one know, they wanted to have their own wedding day with family and friends to announce the surprise.  We were booked for the date and were really looking forward to the big reveal!

We treated the day as if it was a wedding with the usual prep photos, gift exchange and the guests arriving which Emma and Nick got themselves ready. The black tie ceremony was conducted by a close friend of theirs using nearly all the correct words which was followed immediately by a video shown in the adjoining room. This was where the guests gathered to watch the original ceremony video from New York, plus a surprise announcement of a child due later this year!

After the informal reception it was time for a few group photos followed up by some couple photos on the cold but dry day - which is always good for a winter wedding. As the guests gathered for what they thought was speeches, singing waiters sprang into action which led the way nicely into the evening entertainment provided the Haus Band (who were excellent!)!
