Aldwick Estate Wedding Photography - James + Rachel

Back to Aldwick Estate for another visit this year to photograph the wedding of James & Rachel on what felt like one of the hottest days of the year! As I arrived a couple of hours before the ceremony, this gave me a chance to fly the drone for some aerial photos (after first contacting Bristol Air Traffic Control as they has to authorise my flight). The venue sits with a no fly zone due to the probity of Bristol Airport so there is some work involved before the wedding day to obtain the necessary permissions.

The couple met at Cardiff University and got engaged on a road trip around Scotland in the Cairngorms after a long hike! They actually found us looking at some of your photos advertised on the Aldwick website, On the wedding day, they were most excited about having everyone we love in one place and chose Aldwick Estate as they in love with the view and the mix of indoor to outdoor area.

When asked what the best moment of the wedding was, they replied “We loved every moment, it’s hard to choose a favourite part!”

Our tips for future couples would be “choose Richard Lewis as your photographer, you won’t regret it!!!!” – and I didn’t request that bit was added!
