Old Down Manor Wedding Photography - Robyn + Dan

Robyn is a hairdresser who owns her own business so it was great to head over to her Salon for the preparation. Her two bridesmaids were there as was her mum, all undergoing the hair & makeup but there was a definite air of calm!  Maybe the bucks fizz had something to do with it 😉

After unpacking all our kit at Old Down it was time for a quick couple of aerial photos with the drone before the grounds filled with guests. Just as I was packing away, Dan and the best man arrived in the most immaculate old Landrover I’ve ever seen! (Dan is a Landrover mechanic). Time for a few photos and some video!

After some pictures of the boys we headed back up the bridal suite where Robyn and the girls had arrived. She was about to open a large box of gifts from Dan so we set about capturing that moment which was full of emotion. Some nice touches there Dan!  This was followed up with an emotional moment when Robyn’s father saw her for the first time in her wedding dress.

The ceremony was followed up by some photos and confetti on the lawns before the couple headed to one of the top floor rooms in the house.  They wanted a shot with the drone flying up and away from them from the room balcony and we managed to get that for them!  Thats the benefit of the drone!

The guests settled down for the wedding breakfast and speeches which were followed by a surprise of singing waiters. They are such a fantastic addition to a wedding and really liven things up!  By the time they were on the last song, all the guests had gathered in a huge circle around the couple who were dancing and singing. So glad we managed to get some excellent video footage of them dancing surrounded by their friends and family!

The couple wanted some evening photos so we took then down to the lake for evening pictures and some peace and quiet. It was a quiet time and gave the couple some moments to relax and enjoy their time together for the short, relaxing photo session.

The first dance was followed by lots of dancing and partying and guests taking time out on the warm terrace. We then took the couple to the gardens for the sunset photos that they had specially requested.  It was a fantastic finish to our photos & video for the day.
