Eastington Park Wedding Photography - Ryan + Zoe

Ryan and Zoe met whilst racing cars; they’re amateur racing drivers. That’s certainly a first for us!  What’s not a first is our 3rd visit this year to the lovely Eastington Park; always a great venue to come back to!

Zoe was getting ready in the Honeymoon Suite with the girls whilst Ryan arrived enabling us to get some photos of him interacting with his family and friends. As we were there a couple of hours early, it was a good opportunity to fly the drone for some aerial photos of the venue and grounds.  The ceremony was going to be held outside so it was a great to fly over the outside seating area for some unusual angles from above.

Zoe’s mum and bridesmaids helped make the final touches to the wedding dress whilst Ryan and the guests waited outside.  Once they had negotiated descending the circular staircase for the obligatory registrars chat, we made our way to the outside ceremony area to start the cameras as we were filming and photographing the wedding.

As Zoe walked, all eyes were turned towards her although I was watching Ryan who had a small emotional moment as he saw his bride for the first time.  The ceremony took place in beautiful sunshine and was followed up with the meet and greet and drinks on the terrace. This was a good opportunity for the candid photos of the couple interacting with their guests and one of our favourite parts of the day as we almost go un-noticed.  As this went on, we noticed a Bucking Bronco being set up, more on this shortly 😉

We opted for a circular group for the confetti which gave us an opportunity to get a lot of confetti onto them in one go! As the canapés were handed out, we were able to capture some more informal photos just in time before the guests started eating.

After the wedding breakfast, a large TV screen was wheeled in and Zoe’s dad showed a full home made presentation about Zoe growing up. It might have made Zoe squirm a bit but it gave us great photos!

After the meal, the guests went back outside to see the Bucking Bronco was ready to go. This is one of the funniest (and best) attractions we’ve seen in 12 years of photographing weddings and gave us lots and lots of photos! There was a bit of a queue to get on it but it was a definite success! For more gentler entertainment, there was a table tennis table setup outside which was proving popular with the younger guests.

The evening guests enjoyed the Bucking Bronco and we had to round everyone up for the first dance but all in all a fantastic day.
