Thornbury Golf Centre Wedding Photography - Josh + Joanne

First time back to Thornbury Golf Centre this year for Josh & Joannes wedding, they were guests at a wedding we photographed four years ago.

All the preparation was taking place at the venue, we arrived a couple of hours before the ceremony as we were taking photos and filming throughout the day.

Joanne was getting ready in the bridal suite at the Lodge which has had a bit of a makeover since our last visit. The bridesmaids and flower girls were all getting ready together which always makes things a little easier for us!

Meanwhile Josh and the groomsmen needed a little guidance on fixing their buttonholes which is something I find my doing at most weddings at the moment. Once that was done they set about having a drive around the grounds in the 1967 Chevy.

The ceremony took place in the upstairs room at the Club and was followed by a confetti photo in the private area set aside for guests with a view over the 18th.  We worked our way through the short group photo list before the couple photos taking in the views over the Severn in the background. 

As the guests seated for dinner, Singing Waiters broke into song and livened up the afternoon which was followed by the speeches.  Due to the hot weather, everyone was keen to get back outside which gave us an opportunity for plenty of natural photographs of the guests enjoying the warm summers afternoon. The DJ provided music for the dancing in the evening although a number of guests headed back outside after the first dance to cool down!
