Cadbury House Wedding Photography - Matt + Jade

Matt & Jades wedding took place in the Drawing Room at the DoubleTree Hilton Cadbury House.  We were in the same room earlier in the year for another wedding so its always useful being familiar with the venue as it reduces the setup time for us.  We headed over to see Jade and the bridesmaids getting ready where the gifts from Matt were duly opened and we took back a gift from Jade to her future husband. It a great way to ensure we get both sides of the gifts being opened (although we have managed to cover the simultaneously before with two of us).

Jade then re-located to another room in the Hotel for the final part of her getting ready and the first look with her Dad.

We asked her a couple of questions about how they met and their wedding day and these are their answers…

How did you meet?
We met at College reunion, I gate crashed as I didn’t actually go to college with Matt. 

Where was the proposal?  A park bench, in Florence Park in Oxford

What were you most excited for on your wedding day?
Matt – Seeing Jade in her dress and happy
Jade – Seeing everything come together, and having my fairytale. 

Why did you choose that venue?
Because we loved everything about the room and the grounds. It had everything we were looking for in one place. 

What were your favourite parts of the day?
Matt – Everything but especially the ceremony and photos
Jade – Finally being able to walk down the aisle, doing our vows, and seeing everything come together exactly how I pictured it. 

Any other tips for future couples?
Matt- Don’t do it, he’s joking of course lol. 
Jade – Enjoy every minute as it goes so quickly. And have at least 5 mins together somewhere during the day to savour the moment. 

Singing waiters made an appearance in the afternoon and we managed to get the couple outside on a fine but cool evening for some requested evening family photos, before heading back in to warm up for the first dance and evening celebrations.
