Old Down Manor Wedding Photography - Matt + Steph

Steph approached us following a recommendation to her Mum. We’ve worked at Old Down Manor quite a lot over the years and its always a pleasure to return and spend the day photographing a wedding.

Steph was getting ready at the venue with her bridesmaids and we arrived a couple of hours before the ceremony. This gave me an opportunity to photograph the tables which were already set up, the outside spaces and the ceremony room. It also gave me an opportunity to fly the drone for some aerial photographs and have a wander down to the lake to check out the path. It can be quite muddy with very long grass and I’m always mindful of the brides shoes and dress! This time, it looked good and had great potential if we could find some time later in the day.

As a trickle of guests started to arrive, Lisa and split up (as we do at most weddings) to we can cover different things going on.  Matt has a twin brother so Lisa insisted on a photo with one of them on each arm (sorry boys!) but little things like this are a good ice breaker.
