Purton Church + Matara Wedding Photography - Kieron + Kayleigh
Kieron & Kayleigh were guests at a wedding we photographed in 2021 and approached us to photograph their wedding. It always a pleasure when we get couples who we’ve met a previous wedding come back to us to cover their own wedding! We managed to cover some of prep firstly with Kieron then heading over to see Kayleigh and managed to get the first look with her dad. He was a bit emotional when he first saw her but we had to leave shortly after than moment to get to the Church and set up for the ceremony. With thanks to the Bridemaids who did a great job with some mobile phone photos for us!
Upon arriving at Purton Church, a number of guests had already arrived so it was a quick chat with the Vicar to establish her ‘rules’ and then we set about photographing the guests along with Kieron who had arrived with the groomsmen. The ceremony was photographed from the rear of the church and followed by the traditional confetti throw as the couple walked along the line of guests adjoining the Church footpath. The couple were waved off to start the wedding reception at Matara.

After the standard group photos, we took the couple aside for some couple portraits in the Courtyard. This was a lovely private space full of flowers and ideal for a variety of photo styles. As the clocks had changed, we only get the one chance with daylight before the wedding breakfast With that done, we headed back for the speeches which were followed the evening reception then the dancing to the live band - who were excellent!
