Lord Mayors Mansion House Wedding Photography - Pete + Becki
The Lord Mayors Mansion House was another first for us this year for the wedding of Pete and Becky. We arrived in plenty of time for the required photos of the girls in their PJ’s and the opening of a sizeable bag of gifts from Pete which was an emotional moment for Becky!
As the guest began to arrive, Pete arrived with his entourage and got changed in the splendidly named Guild of Guardians room. The tuxedo’s and patent leather shoes looked very smart and the liberal use of aftershave certainly helped the guys get into the wedding day vibe. The planned outside ceremony unfortunately couldn’t take place but the interior was set up ready for the ceremony when we arrived and it looked gorgeous.
Becky was given away by her father which started off with a walk from the room down the staircase into the ceremony room, a moment for plenty of photographs! After the ceremony, the guests gathered outside for the confetti photo before enjoying drinks on the lawns. It was a good moment to send the drone up for some aerial photos and video before we started on the short list of group photos.
The speeches took place after the wedding breakfast after which we took some stylised photos around the interior of the Mansion House and setup for the first dance. There was plenty of dance floor action before the ratty tasty evening buffet was served and we concluded with some night photos in the Gazebo.
