Eastwood Park Wedding Photography - Brad + Josie

Brad & Josie approached us having been recommended by a friend who was a previous client of ours. The wedding was originally planned for 2020 but due to covid, it was postponed and moved several times. Finally, it took place at the lovely Eastwood Park.

How did you meet?
We met back in school, we were actually each other’s first boyfriend and girlfriend before going our separate ways when we went to college and rekindling 8 years ago.

Where was the proposal?
Celtic Manor! We had gone for our anniversary, our first time away since our little girl was born. We’d arrived and the lady on check in told us we’d been upgraded free of charge as they’d had a cancellation, we ended up with a beautiful suite, champagne etc, little did I know Brad had planned the whole thing!

What were you most excited for on your wedding day?
Finally having all our friends together after the pandemic, we had people fly in from all over and it was just the best being together again.

Why did you choose that venue?
We chose Eastwood park as it was somewhere my Nan and grandad visited regularly (Josie) they’re no longer with us anymore but are laid to rest around 5 minutes away from the venue and I felt they were with me on that day!

What were your favourite parts of the day?
The whole day was just incredible, the first dance and saxophone player was amazing!

Any other tips for future couples?
Once you’ve done all you can do, chill! The week leading up to the wedding I made sure everything was done the weekend before so I could just enjoy the lead up and let the excitement build! Don’t worry about the small details and just enjoy the moment.
