Leigh Court Wedding Photography - Owen + Claire

The day began with a visit to Claire's parent's house for some prep photos, giving me a chance to catch up with her family. It was a nice start to the day, filled with laughter and reminiscing about Sarah's wedding that we had photographed a few years back.

After taking a few shots, we made our way to Leigh Court. The cloudless sky was a dream for capturing shots of the stunning venue, inside and out. I even managed to get some aerial shots with the drone before the guests arrived. It's always a rush to get those shots before the hustle and bustle of the day takes over.

When Claire and the bridal party arrived in their vintage car, we snapped a few photos inside the car before they made their way into the venue. During the ceremony, I positioned myself strategically to capture every moment of the ceremony. Owen and Phil looked sharp in their black tie suits, and Claire simply glowed as she walked down the aisle on the arm of her father who was giving her away.

Once the ceremony concluded, we headed outside for the confetti photos. The sunny weather was a blessing, allowing us to get all the group shots done smoothly. I took the couple around the building and grounds for the couple portraits in the late autumn sunshine.

After the wedding breakfast, the speeches were heartfelt and funny, and the evening reception was filled with live music from the Sir Juke wedding band. The addition of a caricaturist kept things light and fun, leading to some great candid shots. And the surprise fireworks display at the end was the perfect finale to a perfect day.

Photographing weddings is always a unique experience, filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable moments. We strive to capture the modern, relaxed, informal, and reportage style that each couple brings to their special day.
