Coombe Lodge Wedding Photography - Alex + Aaron

Alex and Aaron’s wedding took place at Coombe Lodge near Blagdon, a venue we’ve had the pleasure of working at many times over the years.

We arrived a couple of hours before the ceremony to photograph the venue and grounds before the guests and also to check out a few good places for photographs. Alex was getting ready in the bridal suite with Aaron in the onsite with the groomsmen and best man staying the the Garden House.

After the getting ready photos, the family and friends arrivals always provide another opportunity for more natural photos. The ceremony took place in the Music Room which had between beautifully decorated with an abundance of flowers and this was followed by confetti and a group photo from the balcony. Although I had the drone, the balcony provides a means to capture everyone straight after the confetti pictures.

After the group photos, we moved on to the couple portraits using the grounds. Coombe Lodge's beautiful gardens provide the perfect setting for capturing romantic and intimate moments between the newlyweds. There are endless opportunities for capturing stunning images of the bride and groom, surrounded by vibrant colours and textures.  With two of us taking photos, you can get a mix of traditional and creative shots. This can also result in a wider range of edited photographs, giving you more options and a larger selection of final images.

The evening was filled with the music from the live band Switch who provided the energetic musical entertainment for the evening!
