St Laurence Church, Priddy & Polsham Marquee Wedding Photography – Tom & Louise

We photographed Louise’s sisters wedding a few years previously so it was an honour to be asked back to photographed her own wedding. The marquee was in the grounds of their property in Poulsham, Somerset with a ceremony at the nearby St Laurence Church in Priddy.

How did you meet: We met at the Queen Victoria pub in Priddy.

Where was the proposal: Tom proposed before my surprise 30th birthday party.

Why did you choose a marquee wedding reception: We wanted the kids to be a part of our day and to have a small group of close friends and family with us for the day.

What were the favourite parts of your day: Highlights from the day were seeing family we hadn’t seen for a few years and seeing the kids all have a great time.

Any wedding day tips tips for future couples getting married: Take a few moments to sit back and take everything in because it is over in the blink of an eye.

It was a beautiful day and the weather held out. The vintage bus from home to the Church was an excellent idea of getting the guests there as there isn’t much parking, plus we stopped at the Queen Vic pub on the way! On the return, we drove through the centre of Wells which turned a few heads before returning home for the wedding reception.
