Kingscote Barn Wedding Photography - James + Tash

Tash was a bridesmaids at a wedding we photographed in 2019 so it was an honour to be asked to take the photos for her wedding day at Kingscote Barn. It was a fantastic day with lovely weather which enabled us to capture some great photos, video and to fly the drone for some aerial footage.

After the wedding I asked James & Tash for a few thoughts about how they met and some tips for future couples planning a wedding day:

How did you meet: We met on a night out at ultimate power ballads in the fleece in Bristol.

Where was the proposal: James proposed at the Lake District at Ulswater lake.

What were you most looking forward to: We were most excited about seeing each other down the aisle, the speeches and the party in the evening.

Why did you chose Kingscote Barn: We chose the venue for the beautiful scenery and views. Also have amazing on site accommodation. Having the option to get married outside was amazing too which we were lucky enough to do.

What did you enjoy the most: The whole ceremony, speeches and some time alone together during photos.

What advice would you give to couples getting married: Not to worry about the small things e.g. decorations and other bits as you won’t even notice on the day, enjoy the build up. On the wedding spend time together because the day goes so fast.
