Old Rectory House Hotel Wedding Photography – Dale & Sam

Dale approached me last year after attending I wedding of a friend that I photographed some years before and liked the style of photos we produced. We had a chat about the venue, The Old Rectory Hotel in Worcestershire and the date was booked for photographs up until the end of the speeches!

How did you meet?
We met at work and our friendship formed first from our ability to work well together. We realised we were completely in sync and enjoyed our time working together.

Where was the proposal?
Tenby. We went away for Sam’s birthday to a remote glamping log cabin and after a bbq Dale got down on one knee.

What were you most excited for on your wedding day?
Sam – seeing family and the band
Dale – cake!

Why did you choose that venue?
We loved the decor of the venue, particularly in the Orangery. We liked the small intimate nature, and the fact it was private hire. The heated outdoor area was an added bonus, particularly the teepee.

What were your favourite parts of the day?
Dale – seeing Sam for the first time walking down the aisle and the overwhelming feeling of happiness
Sam – really hard to pick, the whole thing?

Any other tips for future couples?
Definitely to go on honeymoon the next day and continue to ride the high of your wedding. It took us a couple of days to calm down and take it all in as it goes so quickly.
