We met Will and Becki at Clevedon Pier for a pre-wedding photoshoot. It was a bright breezy day but we got some great photos that they were really pleased with. The hot chocolate and coffee in the small cafe on the pier was even better! The meeting set the standard for the photos at the wedding which was just around the corner.
Kingscote is one of our favourite venues having worked there many times over the years. The beautiful barn and rural aspect are perfect for weddings any time of the year and that staff here keep the day ticking over very well indeed.
Becky and the bridesmaids were getting ready in the Bridal Suite whilst Will was relegated to one of the rooms with the best men. In reality, it’s a large self contained apartment so again, lots of space.
As the ceremony was taking place outside, I took the opportunity to get the drone airborne for some photos and video as we were filming and photographing the wedding. The couple had also requested that as they left the ceremony, we took a photo of all the guests from the drone to get a group shot ticked off the list (no pressure!). I set up cameras in the Linhay and we were ready for the Ceremony.
After the vows and the couple were walking down the ‘aisle’, I flew the drone for some aerial photos and video of them walking. Lisa took photos from the ground, one of those moments that an only be achieved with both of us attending the wedding!
Instead of confetti, the couple provided bubble guns which were brilliant! Just had to avoid a soap bubble bursting on the camera lens but it was all good. The kids absolutely loved them!
We took the couple up to the approach road in the early evening and then back in time to mingle with the evening guests before the dancing started. The Moon Loungers were fantastic in the evening and the dance floor was full as we left around 9pm.
